About Me…
A Journey of Passion and Transformation
From the global stage spotlight to the intimacy of one-on-one coaching and therapy sessions, I’ve dedicated my life to exploring how we can express ourselves authentically, connect deeply, and create meaningful change. Allow me to show how this unique journey equips me to guide you on yours.
The Performer: Discovering Authentic Expression
My journey began in the world of music and performing arts, holding degrees from the University of Michigan and Yale University. I graced stages worldwide, discovering the profound impact of authentic self-expression. Each performance taught me about presence and connection, pushing me to explore not just "Who am I?" but "How can I connect with and impact others?" These questions laid the foundation for my artistic and professional development.
One pivotal moment stands out: during a particularly challenging performance, I found myself fully present, deeply connected with the audience. It was then I realized the transformative power of presence and authentic expression—a lesson I now bring to every coaching session and therapy appointment.
The Creative Entrepreneur: From Stage to Kitchen
Later, I transitioned to roles behind the scenes—as a teacher and artist manager—navigating the complex dynamics of the entertainment industry and honing skills in leadership, communication, and strategic planning. Life had more surprises in store. My path led me from the stage to the kitchen, where I founded a custom baking company. This unexpected turn taught me invaluable lessons in creativity, precision, and resilience. These experiences now enrich my work with clients, allowing me to understand the challenges of entrepreneurship and creative industries firsthand.
The Coach and Therapist: Guiding Others to Their Potential
Inspired by Gabrielle Roth's teachings, I am reminded daily of the vital role creativity plays in our well-being. Roth asks, "When did you stop dancing? When did you stop singing? When did you stop being enchanted by stories? When did you stop being comforted by the sweet territory of silence?" These questions fuel my passion for keeping the creative spark alive in my work as a psychotherapist and executive coach.
My transition into executive coaching led me to earn certifications in Executive Coaching and High Impact Leadership from the University of California, Berkeley Executive Coaching Institute. I've had the privilege of facilitating workshops and coaching leaders globally, including at The Ford Foundation, S&P Global, ASML, Booking.com, and women’s leadership programs through UC Berkeley Executive Education. My workshops cover a range of topics, from leadership presence and mindfulness to cooking, culture, and leadership, all aimed at helping professionals develop their confidence, communication skills, and impact.
To deepen my ability to guide clients through personal and professional growth, I became a certified Gestalt therapist through Gestalt Associates for Psychotherapy and a licensed psychoanalyst in New York State.
The Whole Picture: Connecting the Dots
The diverse threads of my journey—from performing arts to baking, from artist management to executive coaching and therapy—are all connected by a common theme: a passion for helping others unlock their fullest potential. My multifaceted background allows me to meet you where you are and guide you towards where you want to be, whether you're seeking personal growth, professional development, or deeper connections in your relationships.
